Progress

Basic lines of investigations:

  • Development and studies of high-power multichannel Nd-glass laser systems intended for inertial confinement fusion (ICF);
  • Development and studies of high-power pico-and femtosecond Nd-glass multichannel lasers based on the chirped pulse amplification to generate ultra-strong fields in plasmas;
  • Studies on physical phenomena in high-temperature laser plasmas and the development of plasma diagnostics;
  • Studies on laser pulse propagation in the atmosphere;
  • Development, studies and manufacture of laser components, and methods and devices to make diagnostic measurements of high-power Nd-glass laser systems.
