A technological complex set up at NIIKI OEP makes it possible to produce optics from metals, polycrystalline-and-monocrystine materials, optical ceramics and other unconventional materials. The manufacturing methods of optical elements, including development of manufacturing processes, is based on conventional polishing and diamond turning.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
  • Dimension of work piece: up to 500 mm
  • Asphericity: up to 300 μm
  • Gradient of asphericity: up to 30 μm/mm
  • Surface accuracy: λ<0.25 (l=0.6328 μm)
  • Surface roughness: less than 100 Å
  • Accuracy of optical surfaces relative position: 10 second of arc
