Engineering department of the NIIKI OEP prototype production possesses a structure (the assembly, optical,chemical, design and standartization offices), which makes it possible to realize the process design for any products. More than twenty techniques of vacuum deposition are employed at NIIKI OEP, among which are: blooming of laser rods, narrow-band interference filters for visible and IR spectral range, radiation polarizer of 1,06 mcm on a 300mm substrate, thick aluminium coatings for large diffraction gratings, nickel-based test plates with variable density, conducting coatings etc., more than 20 electroplating processes, including black nickel and titanic alloys, solid anodization of aluminium alloys, tin-bismuth, black chrome, electropolishing of copper alloys and stainless steels, chemical silvering of laser reflectors.
